Welcome to the blog! I’m Jon. I’m a master’s level mental health counselor in Indiana. More importantly than that, I have been saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. I love God and His Word. I hope to give my clients, and whoever else, some of the topics that we review in session, in a blog format. I hope to build up the library of blog posts over time to allow clients to search through various topics. This blog is mainly a resource for them, but I hope it is useful to whoever reads.

This will hopefully replace some lengthy emails that I was writing up for clients when I realized a link may be easier to send. I echo Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 3:18, that you may know “the width and length and height and depth” of the love of Jesus Christ for His church and the promises for those who trust in Him for salvation.

I hope to have what I say thoroughly steeped in Scripture. I hope it leads those that read to the Word itself, the Bible. I pray that their eyes would be opened to see “wondrous things” (Pslm 119:16) in God’s Word so that they would value Christ higher and higher in their lives and minds. -Jon

I have treasured Your word in my heart,
So that I may not sin against You.

Psalm 19:11

By grace you have been saved, through faith (Eph 2:8)

So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to all the fullness of God.

Ephesians 3:17-19
